Suggested complaint:
I, _______________, am calling to complain about FDA regulatory acting in contempt subversion of congress and the American people.
The FDA's illegal attempts to expand its authority beyond governing law and misuse of "rule promulgating authority" exceed both FDA's intent and mandate.
I am deeply offended by the misappropriated use of my tax dollars by the FDA to undermine the laws of congress. I am also offended by public government agencies serving private financial interests under the guise of serving public good.
This abuse, is well documented by David Graham's 1994 congressional testimony.
As an American Citizen I object to the abuse of power and trust routinely practiced by the FDA directed at the American public.
I further object to the FDA's attempts to subvert DSHEA through the "Trilateral Cooperation Charter". The FDA has no right to undermine the will of congress and the voice of the American people by pretending that foreign treaty trumps US sovereign law.
The FDA's abuse of international treaties is an attempt to legitimize illegal prosecution and persecution of American citizens and outlaw dietary supplements because they are effective.
Please take action and stop the FDA from abusing public trust. Force the FDA to honor protections enumerated in the Bill of Rights, mandating due process, preventing warrant-less search and seizure, guaranteeing speedy trial by jury, and application the universal rights embodied within ninth amendment to each American's personal choice in health care.
In 1994 the American people flooded Congress with more calls, faxes and personal visits than has ever occurred before or sense in the HISTORY of Congress during the drive to pass DSHEA. This occurred in the face of an FDA rulemaking effort that threatened to DESTROY our access to dietary supplements, but we STOPPED IT!!
Just as we did that in '94, TODAY we CAN stop the FDA's Trilateral Cooperation Charter with Canada and Mexico via which FDA is trying to bring in Codex by first harmonizing our food based dietary supplement regulations with Canada's and Mexico's far HARSHER regulatory regimes by clamoring for OVERSIGHT on this issue as a PRELUDE to ALSO pushing for oversight hearings on all OTHER illegal acts being committed against our country by the Commerce Committee as well.
